This one is for the truly lazy and efficient among you. The self-stirring mug we purchased, which literally says ‘SELF STIRRING MUG,’ has a tiny rotor on the bottom that will assist you in stirring your coffee during sahur or your Milo during buka. It’s a battery-powered device that runs on two triple-A batteries, and to activate it, press a button on the top of the mug handle.
Fatin tried it out during sahur, and honestly, that small rotor seems to do a pretty good job of stirring her drink together, even comparable to using a regular spoon. Fatin, on the other hand, discovered that her self-stirring mug was leaking from the bottom. She checked the bottom of the self-stirring mug after pouring her drink into a separate, more conventional cup and discovered that her drink had leaked all over the battery compartment.
In the self stirring mug’s defense, Fatin notes that she could’ve just gotten a faulty one rather than it being a design flaw and will be seeking an exchange from the seller. Plus, it has a pretty solid 4.8 out of 5 rating on Shopee, with 847 5-star reviews. We got it for RM7.86, and if you’d like to try it out for yourself (check for leaks) you can do so by clicking here for its Shopee listing.
